At the age of 34, Kobe “JellyBean” Bryant has spent half of his life as an NBA basketball player. His unprecedented rise to the top of the NBA mountain has seen numerous amazing feats of both individual and team talent. Whether it is his 81 point outburst, his 3 championships alongside Shaq, his 2008 MVP trophy, his consecutive nights of 40 point scoring barrages, his 62 in 3 quarters against the Mavericks, his dunk contest win, the 2 Gold Olympic Medals he earned, his all-star MVP trophies, his 2 finals MVP’s or the five championship rings on his battle scarred fingers, the Black Mamba has always found a way to rise to the occasion. With a rejuvenated Lakers team now including team mates Dwight Howard and Steve Nash, Kobe looks to make a push to a historic 6th championship. One way or another, the Black Mamba shall always find a way to RISE.
